The Soling 50 has been around a long time and has a proven track record. Designed for the sand and surf of the California coast, this is the most solid and consistent performing model I have ever seen. Based upon the class of the Marbleheads, the boat is 50" LOA with 800 sq in of sail. It is raced primarily in California, but we are seeing new boats pop up in Florida and in Texas.

I am very proud that when AMYA Hall of Famer Chuck Black wanted a new boat he chose ours.
A new Soling 50 hull straight out of the mold
A new technique we developed is actually molding the keel saddles into each individual hull. They are then removed and cleaned up, and then fiberglassed in place with aluminum bushing for the keelbolts. They are molded from a strong delrin plastic and insure a perfect fit as is possible to the hull to prevent leakage. They are also light weight and incredibly strong.
The Soling 50 was our first model to employ our own custom mast fittings which are molded specifically to our spars which are made exactly to our specifications.
Then the boat is completed using PEKABE fittings for the running and standing rigging. Also on this model was the optional tinted hatch cover.
